Dan and Lee Ludwin Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by their son, Rick. Dan Ludwin was a teacher and Director of Recreation for the City of Rocky River from 1956 to 1974. He supervised the construction and operation of the Rocky River Municipal Skating Rink and Pool, which opened to the public in 1958. He was a long-time member of Kiwanis and an avid golfer. Lee (Leanore) Ludwin was the owner and operator of a Cleveland sheet metal construction company and a past president of the trade group Women in Construction. Mr. Ludwin died in 1989; Mrs. Ludwin in 2002. Their scholarship is intended to help pay college expenses for a graduating senior.
