This scholarship is in memory of Jerry Gifford, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013. He fought for six years before losing his battle in 2019. One of Jerry’s greatest joys in life was going to our son Joe’s school events and socializing with both students and parents. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known, and he loved Joe and Rocky River with all his heart. I can’t think of anything that Jerry would love more than to be able to help kids and families of Rocky River.
