William “Billy” Badstuber Scholarship

William "Billy" Badstuber Scholarship

The William “Billy” Badstuber Scholarship is an annual award initiated by his classmates from the class of 1968. Billy suffered from a severe case of diabetes that took his life far too soon. He chose to not pursue a traditional college degree. Instead he went to work at his family butcher shop at the West Side Market. His spirit and courage to “take the road less travelled” is why we chose to award two scholarships of $2,000 each. We hope that these scholarships will allow these students the opportunity to pursue further development and training that fits their interests and needs.
